View from the top of Rugby Road c1900 Old Post Office - Rugby Road. Viewed towards the village centre. St Denis church would be on the left. The pump can be seen in the distance at the site of the current war memorial. Lutterworth Road - near village centre c1890 Lutterworth Road c1900 old Co-Op on left. Viewed towards Lutterworth.The Co-Op is the building with the double doors. The building to its left no longer exists and stand on the site of the current entry to Brookside Avenue. The Village Hall is noticeable in the background.

Lutterworth Road c1900 - Viewed towards Lutterworth. The Co-Op can be seen on the left. Schools on Lutterworth Road. Located on the right hand side of the road when leaving the village. Currently the site of two bungalows. Schools on Lutterworth Road Bomb damage to school 1940. Pailton was one of the first places to be bombed during World War II. Some people think the village was mistaken for Rugby station due to reflections from corrugated iron roofs.

The Plough Inn - Located on the right hand side of Coventry Road when leaving the village. Edmund House was built at this location. The Fox Inn - late 90s. Demolished shortly afterwards to make space for new houses to be built. The site is now known as Foxfield.
