The committee thanked Clair for undertaking both a Health
& Safety audit and a Disabled Access assessment. Both are now available on the web site. A full schedule of works encompassing issues arising from these
surveys and other general maintenance issues has also been completed. Drawings to accompany the schedule are in
progress. It is anticipated that this
will go out to building contractors within the next month. These will include
Tresslers and Hobbleys.
Quotes are to be obtained for curtains, chairs and fence by
Tina, Andrew and Tony.
Helen attended the last parish council meeting and outlined
relevant points raised. Discussions took place regarding the recent problems
and it was agreed that lack of good communication was the underlying
cause. It was suggested that copies of minutes
were sent to the parish council and that the council were invited to attend
future meetings.
The AGM will be held on Tuesday 18th May at 8pm
in the village hall. It was suggested
that the chairpersons role should be divided up and that other people had
responsibility for Live & Local events, and the playing field. We will need
a new chairperson as Tina has sadly announced that she will no longer be on the
committee. Tina will write a letter to
village residents and advertise the AGM in Round the Revel.
Wellbeing fund have requested a report on the improvements
made to the playing field
Scouts a cheque for £200 has been received as a donation
from the annual Father Christmas drive.
It was agreed that this should be used for a specific item.
Council licensing to be sorted out by Tina.
Next Meeting Tuesday 20th April at 35 Coventry
Road, 8pm.
