Correction to the minutes dated 12th September 2005, under the heading playing field, £5000 should have read £7000.
The Hall floor has become loose at the stage end. Clair will obtain quotes in order to rectify the problem.
The balcony has been cleared of all the old wooden tables and chairs. A large number of toys, art materials, puzzles etc from the old play group still remain. It was decided that Helen would write to the Revel School, the nurseries in Brinklow and Harborough Magna and the Revel Surgery to invite them to help themselves to anything they can make use of, on Saturday 3rd December between 10am and 11am.
Clair is to speak to Tony Gillias about erecting an outside light at the front of the Hall.
Saturday 26th November is the next event (Caliche). John will cover for Joanna on the raffle; Tony will speak to Sharon and John re the bar. Clair, Maria and Helen will carry out the leaflet drop.
Tony reported that the last event made a healthy profit.
Clair is organising a temporary licence for the 26th November.
Tony has now taken delivery of the goal post. As the poles are very heavy, this will require a number of people to erect them. It was decided that a day between Christmas and New Year should be set aside for a working party to carry out the necessary construction work.
Joanna updated the committee on the slide/climbing frame. She is now in possession of a catalogue and prices for this equipment. Helen will pass this information to Gill for her advice and that of other parents with young children.
Application deadline dates for funds for Children and Young People are the 8th November, 8th January and 8th March. Joanna will obtain the necessary application form.
Clair handed Tony the Charity Commission’s Annual return form.
